New Crew Members Cast for From Bureaucrat to Villainess Anime

The cast list for the upcoming anime has expanded with the addition of two important characters. Yuna Kamakura will take on the role of Garnet, a half-elf who teaches as a professor at the Royal Academy of Magic. The position of headmaster, a powerful wizard, will be taken over by the experienced voice actor Hōchū Ōtsuka.

The anime will premiere on MBS and TBS and its 28 affiliated stations in the Super Animeism TURBO programming block on January 9th. HIDIVE will stream the series during its broadcast run.

The anime adaptation is in the capable hands of director Tetsuya Takeuchi, known for his work on "I Couldn't Become a Hero, So I Reluctantly Decided to Get a Job.". Shingo Irie, who has contributed to successful series such as "Golden Kamuy" and "Log Horizon," is responsible for the screenplay.

Haruka Matsunae is in charge of character design, while Yuki Miyamoto serves as monster designer. The musical score is the result of a collaboration between several composers, including Natsumi Tabuchi, Misaki Tsuchida, Tsugumi Tanaka, Reiko Abe, and Kaho Sawada. The opening song "Choose!!!" is performed by Cider Girl.

Synopsis

The manga centers around Kenzaburō Tondabayashi, a 52-year-old civil servant who gets into a traffic accident one day. When he regains consciousness, he finds himself in the academy of a fantasy world, where he is now reborn as the haughty Grace Auvergne, daughter of a duke.

Ueyama (Zoids, Tsumanuda Fight Town) launched the manga in Shonengahosha's Monthly Youngking Ours GH magazine in March 2021.

"From Bureaucrat to Villainess: Dad's Been Reincarnated!" tells a story about second chances and unexpected perspectives. The series has a unique premise and a talented production team that will captivate viewers.
