Square Enix's Gangan Online platform published the final chapter of Shiro Amano's manga, based on the game Kingdom Hearts III, on Thursday. The fourth and final volume will be released on March 12th.

Amano launched the Kingdom Hearts III manga on Square Enix's Gangan Online website with a prologue chapter in April 2019. The first chapter was then published in June. Square Enix released the manga's third compiled volume in March 2023.

Yen Press previously published the manga in English, but is no longer doing so. The company only released the first two volumes.

Square Enix released the Kingdom Hearts III game in January 2019 in Japan and in the West for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game sold over 5 million copies worldwide by February 2019, including digital sales, and is the fastest-selling title in the history of the franchise. The "Re Mind" DLC was released in January 2020.

Square Enix is currently developing the game Kingdom Hearts IV. The games Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 Remix, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, and Kingdom Hearts III + Re Mind were released for Nintendo Switch via Cloud in February 2023 and for PC via Steam on June 13th. All three games are also available in a bundle titled Kingdom Hearts Integrum Masterpiece.
