In the latest episode of Dragon Ball Daima, the clues are mounting as to the whereabouts of the mysterious Third Eye. While the demons are feverishly searching for the powerful artifact, everything suggests it's already very close by. The tension rises as two crucial scenes offer new insights.

The story takes a surprising turn when the harmless supporting character Hybis casually mentions his unusual find. At the same time, King Gomah's reaction reveals the immense importance of the artifact. This unexpected development could decisively influence the further course of the series.

Hidden Power on a Belt

The unassuming Hybis unknowingly carries one of the series' most powerful artifacts.

Hybis' belt is adorned with a living eye that seems rather peculiar at first glance. Hybis himself sees it only as an interesting find from the mountains. Bulma, however, is anything but thrilled and reacts with revulsion to the revelation of the eye's liveliness. But behind this harmless accessory could lie the legendary Tertian Oculus.

The significance of this discovery is further reinforced by the history of the artifact. The Third Eye disappeared during the reign of King Abura, Dabura's father. King Gomah already mentioned the special properties at the beginning of the series: placing it on the forehead grants the wearer extraordinary powers.

Gomah's True Potential

The Demon King has only shown a fraction of his abilities so far and could become the most dangerous opponent yet.

King Gomah actually had two goals: he wanted to turn Goku and his friends into children and to acquire the Third Eye. Dende's sudden transformation thwarted this strategy. In episode nine, he deeply regrets this. He wants to rule the Demon World, which is quite dangerous.

Both Dr. Arinsu and Degesu show clear respect for Gomah's abilities. While Dr. Arinsu secretly develops strategies and schemes, Degesu trembles with fear at Gomah's outbursts of anger over Goku's successes. The series impressively shows that appearances can be deceiving. Possession of the Third Eye could make Gomah a truly formidable opponent.
