This re-release of the cult classic comes with a host of improvements. Players can look forward to a two-player mode for simultaneous play. The Arcade Archives version also offers a CRT visual mode for an authentic retro feel, online leaderboards for competitive players, and customizable difficulty levels to suit different skill levels.
The original arcade hit was released in Japan in September 1992, and a month later in North America. The game is based on the film "The Super Dimension Fortress Macross: Do You Remember Love?" and puts players in control of the iconic VF-1 Valkyrie units. These fighting machines can transform into three different forms and be upgraded with optional parts.
