The staff for the TV anime adaptation of Paru Itagaki's SANDA manga celebrated Christmas with the anime's teaser promotional video and second teaser visual.

Ayumu Murase voices the titular character Kazushige Sanda, and Hiroki Tōchi plays Santa Claus.

Tomohisa Shimoyama (Yurei Deco, Super Shiro) is directing the anime at Science SARU, and Kimiko Ueno (Delicious in Dungeon, Ranma 1/2) is overseeing the series scripts. Masamichi Ishiyama (Scott Pilgrim Takes Off) is serving as character designer and chief animation director, and Tomoyuki Tanaka of FPM (Superflat Monogram) is composing the music for a cartoon series for the first time.
